Tokyo's Samurai Ninja Museum thrills tourists with hands-on experience

The Samurai Ninja Museum, which opened at the end of 2023 in Asakusa, the historical district of Tokyo, the capital of Japan, has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city.

The museum, which introduces Japanese history and culture with a guided tour and at the same time provides fun moments, was flooded with visitors over the weekend. While some participants experienced using Samurai swords known as “Katana,” others tried to hit a target with Ninja stars called “Shuriken.”

Foreign tourists, who learned the details of Samurai and Ninja culture, immortalized their pleasant moments by taking photos with Samurai armor.

“It is quite exciting”

Akira Tomita, who works as a guide at the museum, expressed his happiness to learn about his culture and enable visitors to experience the use of traditional Samurai and Ninja weapons.

Romanian citizen Luca Albescu, who visited Japan for the first time, stated that they saw the museum while passing through the street and said, “I don't know what to say. However, it is quite exciting because it is a new experience.”

Serbian citizen Srdjan Adomovic, who participated in the guided tour, said, “It was quite enjoyable to learn about this history and how this period started and ended.”
